Frequently Asked Questions

01. Why Soley?

Soley is the result of years of research in our quest to find a way to create delicious alcoholic beverages made from actual pressed fruit that remain fresh in a bottle without adding artificial preservatives. It replaces the hand-muddling of fruit and is excellent for cocktail creation.

02. Is Soley natural and Non-GMO?

Yes, we use only all-natural and non-GMO ingredients.

03. Does Soley separate?

All natural fruit settles, so separation might occasionally occur. If you see a light deposit at the bottom of the bottle, simply shake & enjoy - it's pressed fruit!

04. Is Soley gluten-free?

Yes, all our products are certified gluten free.

05. How do you drink Soley?

Soley is delicious on its own, thicker in consistency and tastes more like a freshly pressed fruit juice or smoothie than a strong liquor product. As is, we recommend drinking over ice.

Soley is also super versatile for mixing purposes, it replaces the hand-muddling of fruit.

06. How long does Soley stay fresh?

Best if served within 1 year of purchase. Before opening, Soley does not need to be stored refrigerated. Once opened, we recommend to store in the fridge and drinking sooner rather than later. An open bottle will be fine for a few months, but think of it more like a bottle of wine that you would finish within days, rather than a precious whiskey you'd keep for years.

07. How much alcohol does Soley contain and what is the alcohol in Soley distilled from?

Our products have an alcohol-by-volume level of 12% (similar to wine), the alcohol itself is distilled from sugar-cane.

08. Nutritional values - how many calories does Soley have?

Our nutritional values change minimally from batch to batch, as it is actual fruit that is pressed. Depending on season and harvest, each fruit has slightly different sugar levels.
As indicator in terms of calories: Soley is in the reasonable mid-range, a touch above red wine.

Because the question often arises:
The highest contributor in terms of caloric content in an alcohol beverage is the level of the alcohol itself, more than sugar or carb containing ingredients. At 12% abv, Soley is more comparable to wine than a high proof liquor product.
Using actual fruit, Soley is not a low-calorie beverage. There always are natural sugars in fruit. The only way to achieve low calories is by working with artificial flavor infusions and artificial sweeteners, which we don't want to do.
We believe one is better off drinking something as nature provided, in moderation, rather than excessive quantities of a “low-cal” product.

09. I found Mango Passion bottles having different colors, why?

Our products are always freshly made in small batches, from fruit harvested at different times. Similar to looking at fresh fruit in nature, no two apples look exactly the same.
Sometimes it happens that bottles from different batches end up next to each other in a store.
It's the beauty of working with real fresh ingredients, only processed foods always look the same.

10. Where is Soley made?

Soley is made in Belgium, at highest standards and in small batches - to keep freshness intact.

11. Can I buy directly from you guys?

Unfortunately, the regulatory system of alcohol distribution in the US does not allow us to sell directly to consumers. Contact us and we will send you to the appropriate distributor or retail location.
